Contract Computer Programming and Consulting CLIENT: Bible Explorations Inc.—Terra Bella, CA
SYSTEM: Website development and maintenance
WORK: Developed a custom website to manage presentation of this non-profit organization’s information and to provide online ordering and guest book capabilities. Microsoft FrontPage-2000 was originally used to develop this website even though the web host, at that time, did not support FrontPage Extensions (so it was limited to the capabilities of the FORMMAIL CGI). JavaScript and Jscript were used to provide extensive functionality on the order page and on the entire site. Since that time, though, I have converted the entire site to PHP/MySQL and added a custom, but simple, CMS and Forum. Maintenance and requested enhancements are ongoing. (www.BibleExplorations.com)
CLIENT: The Museum Of Psalms—Israel
SYSTEM: Website re-development and maintenance
WORK: Client requested a complete refurbishment of their website to both create a more professional-looking appearance and to increase the functionality of the site. As part of that work, I added an interface to the PayPal Shopping Cart for credit card orders and I wrote a JavaScript Shopping Cart for payment by phone or by snail-mail. The site is written for IE6, NS7.2, and FireFox compatibility.
CLIENT: Oaks Management Services, Ltd.—London, England
SYSTEM: Website enhancement and maintenance
WORK: The client was able to do their own HTML design using FrontPage 2000. I was asked to code all the client-side JavaScript and server-side ASP/VBScript needed to make the site function, cross-browser, as the client had planned. This included setting up an Access database and coding for server-side email and new HTML page generation using templates, FSO, and JMail. All work was done from within the FrontPage shell so as to be able to turn it over to the client and allow them to manage it from site completion point on.

CLIENT: KSBN Safe Television—Springdale, AR
SYSTEM: MS-NT based PC network, MS-Office 97 & 2000
WORK: Developed a custom MS-Access Application to manage the TV station’s videotape library. Visual Basic for Applications (v6) was used to significantly enhance the standard ACCESS user-interface and to provide necessary functionality beyond what ACCESS can provide by default. The application is split to allow the back-end database to be placed on the server and to allow upgrades to the front-end application without affecting the user’s data. Maintenance and requested enhancements are ongoing.
CLIENT: FOAMEX International—Ft. Smith, AR
SYSTEM: IBM-9406, OS/400, RPG-IV/ILE, DDS, PDM, SEU, SDA, RDA, AFP, EDI, and JDEdwards
WORK: Perform day-to-day EDI (Premenos) technical programming and problem identification necessary to configure new partner documents and/or to upgrade existing partner documents to new standards levels (including conversions for Y2K compliance). Write new online, batch, and user exit programs and reports needed to support these EDI documents. Other non-EDI programming projects were also assigned and completed.
CLIENT: Springdale Seventh-Day Adventist Church—Springdale, AR
SYSTEM: MS-Windows 95 & 98, MS-Office 95, 97, and 2000
WORK: Developed a custom MS-Access Application to manage the church’s membership in a database plus other modules related to church activities. Visual Basic for Applications (v6) was used to significantly enhance the standard ACCESS user-interface and to provide necessary functionality beyond what ACCESS can provide by default. Maintenance and requested enhancements are ongoing.
